The Covenants are officially called “Declarations, Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions.” The Covenants were created by the original property developer. They set in place legal restrictions and covenants governing the use and occupancy of property in Shavano Ridge. This is done to ensure the best and highest quality and to enhance the value of the investment made by the property owners of Shavano Ridge.
The Covenants also provide for the establishment of the Shavano Ridge Homeowners Association a non-profit corporation. In general, the purpose of the Home Owners Association is to maintain and administer the Declarations, Covenants, and Restrictions to provide for the common property and to collect and disburse assessments. If you need help finding the covenants for a property or if you need help interpreting the covenants, contact FSR.
The following Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Policies, apply to all properties in the Shavano Ridge community.
